Northern Timber Review is an editorial publication, not an e-commerce operator. We do not process payments or hold financial data about readers. The personal data we do process is limited to what is necessary to operate the website, reply to reader correspondence, and maintain editorial integrity.
This page describes what data we collect, how long we keep it, and what choices you have. Writing it in plain language was a deliberate decision. If any part is unclear, we would rather you asked us than guessed.
When you visit the site, our hosting provider logs standard web-request information: your IP address, the URL requested, the time of the request, the HTTP status returned, and the referring page. These logs are retained for thirty days for security and fraud-prevention purposes, then deleted.
We use a privacy-respecting analytics tool that aggregates visitor statistics (page views, referring domains, country-level location) without setting cross-site tracking cookies or collecting individual browsing histories. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar cross-site tracking infrastructure.
When you send us a message through the contact form or by email, we receive your name, email address, and message content. We retain this correspondence for up to three years for editorial and legal-record purposes, then delete it unless it forms part of an ongoing matter.
Correction submissions are retained indefinitely as part of our editorial record. If a correction is accepted, the reader's name (with permission) may be mentioned in the public corrections log. We do not publish contact details.
When you click through from our site to a featured company's website, the destination site will typically log your visit under its own privacy policy. We do not transmit any personally identifying information about you to those third parties beyond what is contained in a standard referral header. Some of these third-party interactions are subject to lead-referral compensation arrangements; this is disclosed on every page.
The site uses only functional cookies required for page rendering and language preference. We do not set third-party advertising or tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser without materially affecting site functionality.
Regardless of where you are reading from, you can request the following:
To exercise any of these rights, write to editors@glulam-construction-companies-in-st-petersburg.com. We aim to respond within thirty days.
When we make material changes to this policy, we update the "effective" date at the top of the page and publish a note in the editorial corrections log. Routine clarifying edits (typos, formatting) are made silently.
Questions about this policy may be addressed to the editorial desk at editors@glulam-construction-companies-in-st-petersburg.com.
